ABB has the largest product portfolio in the area of electrical installations among providers worldwide. From switch boxes to the entire inner workings all the way to accessories and innovative smart home devices, no wish is left unfulfilled. This wealth of solutions is both a blessing and a curse. If the individual customer only needs a relatively small number of different products, they sometimes feel intimidated by the sheer quantity of products ABB offers.
We solved this challenge at several levels. First, we introduced testimonials for the three main target groups so the customers find themselves visually within ABB. Second, we packed the ABB range symbolically into a handy toolbox. This toolbox is the personal product world for ABB customers, where they can always easily find exactly what they really need. “My world of installation” is emblazoned as a statement on the box and also personalizes the ABB range. A short viral video that is also sent individually by email to existing contacts explains the story of the ABB magic toolbox in an entertaining way on the web.
