RATEC GmbH, Hockenheim

The name RATEC in the precast concrete parts industry has been a synonym for innovative formwork for more than 20 years. During this time, a multitude of products, accessory parts and overall solutions have come into being, and a correspondingly complex world of brochures. What was missing was a unified and, above all, clear total overview of the products. In this context the naming, the product description and the presentation of the technical data were also unified. Additionally, pictograms were developed for technical details and the product presentation completely converted to high quality, 3D product illustrations.

As a medium, based on the use practices of the target groups, in the first step we decided on a classic print catalogue that we made as user friendly as possible with a newly developed, simple and rapid search system.

Cross references and, in part, QR codes with links to supplemental information on the RATEC website make it possible for the user to access all relevant information rapidly and simply. In a next step, these newly structured contents were also made available on the internet.
In the course of the new structuring, the appearance of the brand was also revised and now appears fresh and tidy.

The total catalogue of over 150 pages now makes a rapid, informative overview of the entire company portfolio possible internally as well as externally and additionally is also a tactilely perceptible sign of its competence in formwork technology.
